My name is Dar-Lynn Jenkins.  I am a 56-year-old wife and mother of three grown children, and a grandmother of four grandchildren.  I have raised three children with the love and affection that I now bestow upon the children in my child care program.  For the last 15 years I have owned and operated my child care program and it has been very rewarding, challenging, and an uplifting experience.  Helping children grow and develop into the people they will become as adults has made me want to pursue this profession even more.  I am currently pursing a degree in Early Childhood Education, which will help me create new and innovative ways to care for and teach the children in my program.   

It blesses me that I have been able to keep in touch with some of the children that are no longer a part of my program but who come and visit to let me know how they are doing and what they have accomplished in their lives.  I am so proud that they are achieving great things and that I have played a part in their lives.
